Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Dung, a lecturer from Vietnam's prestigious Foreign Trade University, chose to come all the way to Taiwan to pursue her PhD in Business and Management at the College of Business, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST). After an enriching and exciting journey, she successfully completed her studies this July and proudly earned her PhD!

During her time at STUST, Dr. Nguyen focused on research spanning corporate governance, strategic management, and technology management. With strong academic support and research resources from the university, she engaged in cross-national studies and discussions, delivering impressive results. Her outstanding performance was recognized with the 2024 Doctoral Dissertation Grant in the Humanities and Social Sciences from Taiwan's National Science and Technology Council (NSTC)—a remarkable honor that highlights her academic excellence.

Beyond her research, Dr. Nguyen actively participated in academic activities and published multiple papers, building a solid foundation of scholarly achievements. Her efforts not only strengthened academic exchange between Taiwan and Vietnam but also set an excellent example of how STUST's doctoral programs nurture global talents at the highest level.
