Recently, some amazing international alumni came back to STUST to share their experiences studying, working, and living in Taiwan. Over 100 students and teachers joined the event, showing how much the school cares about supporting international students.
Dr. Phan, now a department head, talked about his journey from being an international student to a leader. He shared tips on how to adapt to life and studies in Taiwan and encouraged us to use the school's resources and improve our Chinese skills. He also reminded us to build good relationships with teachers and local friends.
Alumna Ly shared her story about working and starting a business in Taiwan. She gave great advice on job hunting, interviews, and career changes. She emphasized the importance of language skills, internships, and networking. She encouraged us to start planning early and take advantage of the support STUST offers.
Dr. Le, a professor, talked about applying for research projects and how attending international conferences and working with other universities helped her career. She also shared advice for international teachers working in Taiwan.
This event demonstrated that with STUST's support, students can achieve success and grow in many ways. The university will continue to invite alumni to share their experiences and foster connections, helping students become more competitive and better prepared for the future.
