Welcome to the STUST family!

Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) recently held the 2026 Fall Semester Students Orientation & Cultural Experience Activity, welcoming around 310 new international students from 17 countries, including Germany, France, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico, India, Mongolia, the Philippines, Eswatini, Saint Lucia, and Japan. Their arrival brings greater cultural diversity and international energy to the STUST campus.

The program featured Chinese language learning, Taiwanese cultural experiences, and campus orientation activities. Through these activities, students learned more about Taiwan, became familiar with campus life and resources, and gained useful information to help them adapt to studying and living in Taiwan.

Vice President Dr. Hung-Te Chang welcomed the new students and highlighted STUST’s commitment to creating a friendly, diverse, and inclusive learning environment. He encouraged students to explore their interests, discover their potential, and make the most of their university experience at STUST.

During the program, students also had opportunities to experience Taiwanese culture and interact with peers from different countries. The lively activities helped students build new friendships and created a welcoming start to their university journey in Taiwan.

STUST currently partners with more than 220 universities and institutions worldwide and offers a variety of international opportunities, including student exchange programs, dual-degree programs, overseas internships, and English-taught programs.

Applications for the Spring 2027 International Student Intake are now open. We warmly welcome students from around the world to join STUST, broaden their horizons, and begin an exciting new chapter in Taiwan!
