STUST Advances into Malaysia to Expand International Recruitment and Educational Partnerships
In July 2026, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) traveled to Johor Bahru, Klang, Kuala Lumpur, and Penang to participate in the 2026 Taiwan–Malaysia Higher Education Fair. The visit gave STUST the opportunity to meet Malaysian students and parents, introduce study opportunities in Taiwan, and share what makes STUST a great place to learn.
At the education fairs, students learned about STUST’s programs and strengths in AI, semiconductors, smart manufacturing, business, digital design, and smart healthcare. The STUST faculty and staff also introduced scholarships, English-taught programs, student exchange opportunities, and overseas internships to help students explore their future study options.
STUST also visited several local secondary schools to meet with principals, teachers, and counselors. These visits provided opportunities to learn more about students’ needs and discuss future cooperation, including student exchanges, short-term programs, and study opportunities in Taiwan.
Another highlight of the trip was meeting with STUST alumni living and working in Malaysia. Alumni shared their university experiences and career journeys, offering valuable advice and encouragement to students who are considering studying in Taiwan.
Through this Malaysia visit, STUST strengthened its connections with local schools, students, and alumni while expanding opportunities for international education and collaboration.
STUST looks forward to welcoming more Malaysian students to Taiwan and helping them begin an exciting international learning journey!
