Do I have to join Taiwan's NHI? How do I apply?
According to the National Health Insurance Act, international students who have stayed in Taiwan for more than 6 months must join the NHI by law.

How much is the NHI fee? How do I pay it?
The NHI fee for students is about NTD 826 per month (subject to official announcements).

How do I use my NHI card?

I'm graduating but want to stay in Taiwan. Can I keep my NHI under the school?
After graduation, your student status ends, so the school cannot continue as your insurance unit.

I'm graduating and going back home. Can I throw away my NHI card?
