華語先修＋學位Mandarin Prep + Degree

國際專修部 Int'l Foundation Program

零華語基礎可！先進行 1 年密集華語培訓（達 TOCFL A2），再銜接指定專業學士學位學程（如 STEM／半導體／商管類）。

No Mandarin background needed! Complete one year of intensive Mandarin training (to TOCFL A2), then move into a designated bachelor's program (e.g. STEM, semiconductors, business).

The review committee focuses on your academic record, motivation, letters of recommendation, and language ability.

錄取與意願確認Admission & Confirmation

獲錄取後，學校會寄發正式錄取通知書。請務必於指定期限內登入系統確認就讀意願，以確保學籍與宿舍分配。

Once admitted, you'll receive an official offer letter. Confirm your enrollment online by the deadline to secure your student status and dormitory placement.

獎學金機會Scholarship Opportunities

南臺提供豐富的境外生入學獎學金（包含學雜費減免或生活補助），錄取時會一併通知結果；輔導團隊也會協助爭取不同政府獎學金。

簽證與文件驗證Visa & Document Verification

憑南臺錄取通知書向臺灣駐外館處申辦 FS 居留簽證（僑生／國際專修部／華語生依規定申辦對應簽證），並確認學歷文件已完成駐外館處驗證。

Use your STUST offer letter to apply for an FS resident visa at a Taiwan overseas mission (Overseas Chinese, Foundation Program, and Mandarin students apply for the corresponding visa), and confirm your academic documents are authenticated.

宿舍申請Dormitory Application

南臺提供優秀且安全的校內學生宿舍，境外新生享有第一年優先住宿權，房型與設備完善。

STUST offers safe, well-equipped on-campus housing, with new international students given priority placement in their first year.

行前通知Pre-Departure Notice

境外學生抵臺前會收到學校的報到提醒以及須知，協助新生了解前來學校的相關資訊。

After Arrival · 抵臺後

入住宿舍Move Into the Dorm

在學校通知入住的日期間遷入宿舍，開始在學校的新生活。

Move in during the scheduled check-in period and begin your new campus life.

新生專屬迎新 Orientation

認識新朋友、體驗華語生活圈、認識校園設施、了解就學規定與居留法規。

Meet new friends, experience Mandarin-speaking campus life, tour the facilities, and learn enrollment and residency rules.

居留證（ARC）與開戶ARC & Post Office Account

抵臺後入境 30 天內，透過線上申辦外僑居留證（ARC）、辦理臺灣電信 SIM 卡及開立郵局帳戶。

Within 30 days of arrival, apply online for your Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), get a Taiwan SIM card, and open a post office account.

加入健保（NHI）National Health Insurance

在臺連續居住滿 6 個月後強制納入全民健保（每月約 NT$826）。未獲得資格前，境外學生需加入學校安排之健康保險（每個月 NT$500）。

After 6 continuous months in Taiwan, joining National Health Insurance (about NT$826/month) is required. Before that, students join the school's arranged health insurance (NT$500/month).

找到正式工作後，透過僑外生留臺工作評點制（採計學歷、南臺學習表現、薪資、華語能力等）滿 70 分即可順利取得正式工作簽證。

Once you land a formal job, the points-based work visa system (education, academic performance, salary, Mandarin ability) qualifies you at just 70 points.

銜接永久居留（APRC）Path to Permanent Residency

在臺工作滿 5 年並符合相關條件，即可申請臺灣永久居留權，在臺建立長遠職涯。

After 5 qualifying years of work in Taiwan, apply for permanent residency and build a long-term career here.
