The first round of mentee-mentor matching has been successfully completed. A huge thanks to the 300+ mentors from around the world who joined the TYRA Mentor-Mentee Program (MMP). Many of them, despite their busy schedules filled with teaching and research, generously took on extra mentees and provided guidance free of charge – all to help more young people from Taiwan walk a smoother, more confident path to their dreams.

TYRA MMP mentors come from countries including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Japan, and more, and represent diverse fields such as natural sciences, biomedicine, engineering, education, arts, and humanities & social sciences.
They offer not only guidance on writing and school selection strategies, but also share first-hand insights into local education systems, industry trends, and application culture – helping you find your unique path to the world.
◉ Second Round of Mentee Recruitment Is Now Open – Deadline: August 31
• Matching will be based on mentee preferences and academic fields. Matching results will be sent out starting in early September.
• Mentors participate on a volunteer basis, and all activities are conducted online – at no cost to participants.
